Inside every castle, there is always a dungeon!

Inside every dungeon, there is always a torture chamber!

So….why do we build such places back in those days.

Are human beings simply sadistic in nature, or because back in the days, if you don’t have places or facilities like these to take care of prisoners or people who have abused the law, then a kingdom wouldn’t be a kingdom.

There will be no place for punishment….right?

So, let’s check out some of the torture chambers that some of these castles have.

This is a classic example of the type of places that prisoners are kept.

Here’s an example of what some of the female prisoners had to endure. The photographer who took this photo actually said that it was pitch dark at the time and he had to use flashlight, so you can sort of imagine what these women had to go through, with their legs locked up in the stock and hands tied behind their back…

Inside every dungeon, there is sure to be some kind of torturing equipment. But seriously, this next one here….i don’t even want to look at it! All i see here is……PAIN and even DEATH!

Honestly, who ever came up with this painful torturing device must be the mastermind of every dungeon.

I wonder how it works though….???
